Policies

The rental driver is the party responsible for the vehicle while under his/her control.

• Must be 25 years or older

• Valid driver’s license

• Credit card in same name as driver’s license

• 25% rental deposit required

• Vehicles are rented out with full tanks of fuel and are due back with a full tank of fuel.  If fuel is needed fuel will be billed at pump price + a $15 service charge

• Exterior mud, or excessive dust/dirt inside of the vehicle will be charged up to a $100 cleaning fee.  

• Cancellation is required at least 72 hours prior to the reservation date for a refund of deposit minus 6%.

• Cancellations made within 72 hours of the reservation date will result in a loss of deposit.

• Cancellations made after 7 am the day prior to the reservation date will result in a 1-day rental charge.

• NO SMOKING IN VEHICLES- UP TO A $250 Cleaning Fee will apply

• Vehicles returned with deflated tires will be charged a $25 service fee

• ROOFS MAY NOT BE REMOVED - DAMAGE FEE WILL BE INCURRED

Note: If the rental driver does not meet these requirements, the rental contract will be canceled.

We do not sell collision damage coverage or insurance. With most insurance companies in most states, If you carry a “full coverage” auto policy on your own vehicle, it covers you in any vehicle you are driving, including rental cars. This is the “collision” or “comprehensive” part of your policy. You do not need an item on your policy that indicates “rental car coverage” which typically means that you have purchased coverage that will pay for your rental car if you wreck your own car. It is your “collision” or “comprehensive” coverage that covers you as a driver in any vehicle you are operating, including our Jeeps.

You may add additional drivers to the rental contract—there is no additional fee. Additional drivers must also present their driver’s license(s)
